Organizations We Have Found Helpful

  • LDSPMA: Latter-day Saints in Publishing Media and the Arts is an organization devoted to the creation of creative works of lasting value and meaning. Their yearly conference is a great opportunity to learn, make connections, and pitch projects to the people who can help you make them happen..

Internships

FMP works with the following programs to support interns.

  • BYU College of Humanities: BYU’s college of humanities is home to language and writing programs as well as a really solid program for those seeking to be professional editors and insiders in the publishing industry.
  • BYU Idaho College of Language and Letters: A little north of BYU’s main campus, BYU Idaho also offers a wide variety of education options for writers, linguists, and creators. BYU-I’s College of Language and Letters also includes the history, geography, and political science folks.
