Well, dear reader, we’re actually doing it. The door is open. Subscriptions for Sally Port Magazine are officially available!
For those unfamiliar, Sally Port Magazine is a family friendly (but not kids only!) fantasy fiction magazine with a focus on both providing stories for the whole family and providing knowledge and opportunities for those who want to write fantasy.
Usually, subscribers will get quarterly (four times a year) issues with the first issue coming in January 2025. But, if you subscribe now, you’ll also get our preview issue that arrives electronically and in print in October 2024.
The preview issue has some really amazing material in it, including:
- A kid who wants to make good on his promises (and an author who actually knows the difference between a sling and a slingshot!)
- Why you don’t mess with that fairy flittering around your porch light.
- An old dragon with new lessons to teach.
- A scenario for you table top fantasy gamers out there.
- Information on creating your own language.
- And something from me, the editor in chief
For those who want to be published, there’s still time to submit stories for our January issue. Check out our submissions page to see what we’re looking for.
For those who want to make a significant impact, there are a limited number of lifetime subscriptions that entitle the purchaser to every issue of Sally Port Magazine, from the preview issue to the last gasp! (Electronically and in print when available) lifetime subscribers will get other benefits as discussed on our subscription page.
